Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey? Axcis are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Start Date: ASAP
Length of position: Temp to Perm
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
The Role:
As a key member of our supportive team, you will:
• Provide tailored support to a pupil with ASD, helping them engage in learning and social activities.
• Implement strategies to aid communication, emotional regulation, and sensory needs.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and parents to ensure a consistent and nurturing learning environment.
• Foster independence while offering encouragement and guidance.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children with ASD (in a school or similar setting).
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning support.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A passion for inclusion and child development.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE/NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent experience) are desirable but not essential.
