Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Start: January 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:40am – 3:45pm
Contract: Full-time | Long-term
A friendly and supportive primary school in Chingford (E4) is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from January. The role involves supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, complex needs and non-verbal communication difficulties across the primary age range. You will help pupils participate in lessons, build independence and feel confident in their daily routines.
The school is looking for a candidate who:
Has proven experience supporting primary-aged pupils with SEN
Can adapt communication and behavioural strategies to individual needs
Brings a patient, resilient and nurturing approach
Works well within a collaborative and caring school environment
