We're looking for amazing SEN Teaching Assistants
Location: Loughborough
Hours: Full-time / Part-time options
Pay: £89 - £110 per day (experience dependent)
We are Axcis Education and we're recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across local schools and specialist settings.
If you’re someone who believes every child deserves to feel understood, supported, and safe in education, this could be the role for you.
Why this role exists
Schools we work with support pupils with a wide range of needs — and they’re asking for consistent, reliable, and empathetic support staff who understand SEN, not just education in general.
That’s where you come in.
You might be supporting pupils who:
.Need 1:1 support to access learning
.Have Autism, ADHD, SEMH or learning difficulties
.Experience emotional regulation or behavioural challenges
.Require patience, reassurance, and routine
.Thrive with the right adult by their side
Support may take place in mainstream schools, special schools, or alternative provisions.
This role could suit you if:
.You have a minimum of 6 months experience in SEN, care, youth work, or education
.You’re calm under pressure and emotionally intuitive
.You enjoy building trust and positive relationships
.You want to feel that your work actually matters
Formal qualifications are helpful, but your attitude, empathy, and reliability are just as important.
What you’ll get by working with us:
.A SEND-specialist agency (not a generalist recruiter)
.Placements matched to your strengths and experience
.Ongoing support from consultants who understand SEN settings
.Long-term and consistent opportunities
.Competitive daily pay
