Job Title: SEND PRIMARY TEACHER
Location: Tower Hamlets Position: Full-Time SEND Primary Teacher Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) Qualification: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) required We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Primary Teacher to join our inclusive school in Tower Hamlets. This full-time role involves working with children who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), creating a positive and engaging learning environment to help them thrive. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEND. Work closely with support staff and other specialists to ensure the best outcomes for each child. Implement personalised education plans (EHCPs) to support student progress. Foster a supportive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Manage behaviour effectively, using positive strategies to support emotional and social development. Engage with parents, carers, and other professionals to monitor and communicate students' progress. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience working with students with SEND in a primary school setting. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families. A passion for helping children with additional needs achieve their potential. Knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices for inclusion.
