Job Title: SEND Support Assistant
Axcis Education is collaborating with a Special Secondary School in Trafford that is currently looking for a committed SEND support assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. The school serves young people aged 11-19 with SLD, PMLD, autism, and complex needs. They provide a flexible and engaging learning environment where all staff members feel valued and well-supported. The school is looking to offer a temp-to-perm contract to the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Support young people with a variety of additional needs, tailoring your approach to meet individual requirements Assist in classroom settings to promote student learning and development Collaborate as part of a team, contributing to a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere Encourage positive social interactions and communication skills among students The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working with young people with additional needs in the UK. We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm during term time only.
