Job Title: SEND Teacher
Position: SEND Teacher

Axcis Education is currently looking for an outstanding SEND Teacher to support one of our specialist schools based in Leeds. The role involves working within a SEND school, supporting students with a range of needs, including Autistic Spectrum Conditions, SEMH, and other additional needs that can create barriers to learning. You will need to quickly build rapport with young people who are often disengaged from education.
Key Responsibilities:
Able to use a range of behaviour management techniques
To have worked with learners with a range of needs
The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
To be able to commit to working at the school for long period of time
Taught a range of subjects
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience in supporting students with SEND particularly ASC,SEMH , and other specified needs
Up to date Team Teach Training
The ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Excellent communication skills
A positive and empathetic approach to supporting students with SEND, promoting their well-being and inclusion within the school community.
