Job Title: SEND Teacher Location: London, Sutton Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm Salary: Paid to scale We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join our dynamic team in London, Sutton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and tailored instruction to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a full-time capacity, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND. • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the varied learning styles and abilities within the classroom. • Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and external agencies to maximize student potential and progress. • Regularly assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive social interactions and high self-esteem among students. • Engage with parents and guardians to ensure a cohesive approach to the students' education and well-being. • Participate in continuous professional development to deepen your understanding of SEND best practices and current educational approaches.
