SEND Teaching Assistant, Complex ASD / MLD Exeter

Axcis have a vacancy for a SEND Teaching Assistant at a well respected specialist school in Exeter working with you people with complex needs aged 5 to 11
This fantastic specialist school uses a range of innovative teaching methods to help their students make the most of their educational experience. It's large and well resourced school with a fantastic atmosphere upon entering the grounds. Situated in the outskirts of Exeter and with excellent links to public transport the school is easily accessible.
The role is five days a week, full time and will go on till the end of the academic year. The position is general in-class support - you may be expected to work one to one, in small groups or providing general in-class support as required. Experience of working with children with complex needs / ASD is essential. Many of the children are non verbal and the ability to use Makaton would be highly advantageous.
Hours are 8.45am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday with a daily pay rate of £70 to £75
