Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant – Croydon
SEND Teaching Assistant – Croydon
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Croydon
Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: £83.40 – £90 per day (PAYE), depending on experience
Axcis Education is excited to offer multiple opportunities for passionate SEND Teaching Assistants at a well-regarded special school in Croydon. This is a great chance to positively impact the lives of students with SEND. You will provide support on both a 1:1 and group basis, helping students aged 11-16, including those with Autism and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND.
• Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson plans and activities.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with teaching staff and professionals to monitor progress.
What We’re Looking For:
• Passionate individuals eager to make a difference for children with SEND.
• Experience supporting students with Autism and/or complex needs is desirable but not essential.
• Both short-term and long-term roles available during term time.
• A proactive, positive approach to supporting students’ learning.
