SEND Teaching Assistant – PMLD Specialist – Northfield Location: Northfield Contract Type: Full-time Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week We are recruiting for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work in Northfield with pupils who have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This specialist role involves supporting complex learning and medical needs in a safe and structured environment. The Role: You will: • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with PMLD. • Assist with personal care, feeding, and hoisting (training provided). • Use sensory strategies and assistive technology to promote engagement. • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and medical staff. • Create a nurturing, consistent learning environment. About You: • Essential: experience supporting children or young people with PMLD. • Confident in using sensory resources and non-verbal communication. • Compassionate, patient, and flexible in your approach. • Willingness to support with personal care routines.
