Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant - Secondary Special School
Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a well-established special needs school in Sale. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs, particularly those with Autism and SEMH. Key Details: Start Date: October Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM School: Secondary Special Needs School Location: Sale, Trafford, Greater Manchester The Ideal Candidate Will Have: - Previous experience working with children or young people with Autism and SEMH, ideally in a school, care setting, youth club, or similar environment. - A calm and nurturing approach, with the ability to remain patient and supportive in a busy classroom environment. - Initiative and the ability to work proactively to engage and support students in their learning. - Excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and families. If successful, you will have the chance to make a real impact in the lives of young people with special educational needs, working alongside a dedicated and experienced team.
