Pay: £92.63 - £100 per day (PAYE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

A welcoming and specialist SEND school in SW15 is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team from September on a temp to perm basis. The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role in a highly supportive specialist setting while making a real difference to pupils’ daily lives.
The Role
• Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assisting with learning, communication and social development
• Supporting pupils with complex needs and autism
• Implementing positive behaviour support strategies
• Assisting with personal care and mobility needs where required
• Working closely with teachers, therapists and wider support staff
• Helping to create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
• Experience in SEND, care, support work, youth work or education is desirable
• Team Teach trained or willing to undertake Team Teach training
• Patient, resilient and proactive approach
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, physically active environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
