Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Early Years SEND TA – Autism & Developmental Delay – Rainham From £89/day | Nursery | Rainham | Immediate Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Axcis are working with a friendly mainstream primary school in Rainham with a dedicated SEND provision, seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support a child with autism and developmental delay. The school is a 5-minute walk from the station and offers free on-site parking. In this role, you will be: • Supporting a nursery-aged child on a 1:1 basis to encourage engagement and communication. • Using play-based activities to promote development and social interaction. • Supporting sensory needs and transitions throughout the school day. • Working with the SENCO and external professionals to implement tailored strategies. What we’re looking for: • Experience in Early Years or SEND support. • Understanding of autism, sensory processing and early intervention. • A nurturing and creative approach to learning. • Teamwork and flexibility to adapt to pupils’ individual needs.
