Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
SEND Teaching Assistant (1:1) Location: Haringey, North London Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only We are recruiting a caring and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis within a vibrant school in Haringey. This rewarding role requires someone who can build strong relationships, provide consistent support, and help the pupil overcome barriers to learning. Experience working with children with SEND, particularly Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs, would be advantageous. Responsibilities: Provide dedicated 1:1 classroom support. Assist with personalised learning and intervention activities. Promote confidence, independence, and positive social interaction. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the SEN team. Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and achievements. Requirements: Previous SEND support experience preferred. Excellent communication and behaviour management skills. Positive, empathetic, and professional attitude. Valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
