Job Title: Severe Learning Difficulties Teaching Assistant in Kidderminster
Start Date: September 2025 Location: Kidderminster Hours: (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) Pay: Starting from £89 per day Contract: Long-term We’re currently recruiting three dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join welcoming and well-supported school environments in Kidderminster this September. This is a full-time, long-term role, working closely with students who have Severe Learning Difficulties from the ages of 4- 19 years. You’ll provide tailored, meaningful assistance to help students thrive, whether 1:1 or in small group settings. What You’ll Be Doing: • Deliver focused 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a variety of special educational needs (SEN) • Help implement, monitor, and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs) • Encourage academic, emotional, and social growth • Work in partnership with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment What We’re Looking For: • Essential: Previous school-based experience • Essential: Experience supporting children with SEN • A calm, flexible, and compassionate approach • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) This is an excellent chance to build long-term experience in a rewarding setting and be part of a team that genuinely values inclusive education and pupil development.
