Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties Teaching Assistant Axcis Education is currently seeking multiple Teaching Assistants to join a well-regarded special school in the Tameside area, supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis across Key Stages 2–4. This school is dedicated to making a positive impact on young people’s lives, focusing on both personal growth and academic achievement. As a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), it operates under a strong core values system that encourages pupils to take responsibility for their actions and make positive choices with increasing independence. We are looking for enthusiastic, resilient, and compassionate individuals who have experience supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly in: • ADHD • SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) • Challenging behaviour Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential — experience working with SEND pupils is required.
