Axcis are pleased to be working with a national charity who are looking for Support/care workers with experience in supporting people within health and social care settings to support adults with autism. If you have experience as a support worker working with people with autism, doing personal care, manual handling, safeguarding and supporting people in a person centred way we would love to hear from you. We can offer you regular work, these particular centres in the Wirral always need extra staff and the shifts are usually 7:30-3pm, waking nights or 3-10pm every day of the week. There are more than 45 locations across the North West We respect the hard work that you put in and pay our staff £10 per hour. Your professional consultant will be there to guide and support you through the process and a lot of our staff have worked within school settings or health and social care roles and understand the work you will be doing. You will be offered training to support you with your own professional development including CPD training sessions on Autism Awareness, Team Teach, Behaviour Management and Non-verbal Communication, to name but a few.
