JOB LOCATION:

We are looking for an ambitious, committed and dynamic teacher to join the English department within a Special School in Swindon. Their students deserve and expect interactive, motivating lessons with opportunities for independent learning and homework that is challenging, exciting and differentiated. Can you provide what they expect? The school is a maintained community special school for students aged between 11 and 16 who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or a Statement of Special Educational Need (SSEN). In most cases the primary identified need is Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and behavioural difficulties. Though the majority of students have additional special educational needs such as autistic spectrum condition, AD(H)D, speech, language and communication difficulties. The successful candidate will be: " An excellent, vibrant and motivating classroom practitioner who can share a love of their subject. " Innovative, with the ability to enthuse others and take on new ideas themselves. " A motivated team player with good interpersonal skills. The position will be from end of May through to July.
