Job Title: Teacher - SEN School
A special needs school in Woodford Green is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team for the new academic year, starting in September. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The role involves teaching students aged 5-19 with a range of special needs, including ASD, Down’s syndrome, and moderate to severe learning difficulties. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual EHCPs and student needs, while creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment that supports student development. Applicants must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and prior experience teaching in an SEN setting or within a class with diverse SEN needs. A strong understanding of EHCPs and the ability to adapt lessons accordingly is essential. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students with additional needs and committed to their progress.
