The successful teacher will be confident planning and delivering highly differentiated, engaging lessons for pupils who may be working below age-related expectations. The role will involve close collaboration with Teaching Assistants and the wider SEND team, with a strong focus on communication, independence, regulation and individual progress. This would suit an experienced SEND Teacher, or a mainstream Primary Teacher with strong SEND experience who is keen to move into a more specialist environment. About the Role • Teaching pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 • Supporting children with Autism, complex needs and communication difficulties • Planning and delivering individualised and differentiated learning • Working closely with EHCP targets and personalised learning plans • Supporting pupils with sensory and emotional regulation needs • Using visual resources, structured routines and communication strategies • Leading and directing Teaching Assistants within the classroom • Monitoring progress across academic, social and developmental targets About You We would particularly like to hear from teachers who: • Hold QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification • Have experience teaching pupils with SEND • Are confident supporting children with Autism and complex needs • Can differentiate learning for pupils working at a wide range of ability levels • Understand the importance of communication, sensory regulation and routine • Are confident working alongside and directing a team of support staff • Have experience with EHCPs and individual learning targets • Can commit to a full-time, long-term role Apply Today If you are a teacher who enjoys seeing progress in small, meaningful steps and wants the freedom to adapt learning around the individual child rather than forcing every pupil into the same approach, this could be an excellent opportunity.
