Job Title: Teaching Assistant ASD
Location: Northwood, Hillingdon
Hours: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:30am–4:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Until end of term, and long-term role from September
We are urgently seeking a confident and experienced 1:1 support assistant to work with a secondary-aged pupil with ASD, ADHD, and ODD. This full-time role is based in a welcoming school in Pinner (Hillingdon) and is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and build positive relationships quickly.
The Role:
-Provide 1:1 support throughout the school day
-Help the pupil stay engaged in lessons and manage behaviour positively
-Follow tailored strategies to support learning and emotional regulation
-Liaise with school staff and SEN team to ensure consistent support
-Create a calm and structured environment for the pupil
What We're Looking For:
-Proven experience working with ASD, ADHD, and ODD in a school setting
- Able to start immediately
-Strong behaviour management and communication skills
-Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Committed to working full-time until the end of term, with potential for September extension
