he Role
Axcis Education is currently recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to register with us and support local Primary and Secondary schools across Stockport. We have a range of day-to-day, short-term, and long-term opportunities, all starting ASAP.
You’ll be working closely with teachers and students to help create a positive, inclusive learning environment and support pupils in reaching their full potential.
What We’re Looking For:
• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting children or young people in a school setting
• Confidence working with individuals and small groups
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach
• Knowledge of SEND support (desirable but not essential)
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting pupils in the classroom under the direction of the teacher
• Working 1:1 or with small groups to reinforce learning
• Assisting with behaviour management and engagement
• Helping to adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
