Job Title: Teaching Assistant SEND experienced Required in Buckinghamshire
Teaching Assistant SEND experienced Required in Buckinghamshire Axcis Education is recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) with ASD experience for a mainstream primary school in Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and creative TA. This is a large primary school situated 4 miles outside of Aylesbury. This very friendly and happy school currently caters for 390 children and continues to grow. With a very structured and disciplined learning environment, the school is seeking an experienced SEND TA to support a student in year 2 with profound Autism. This child is unable to communicate verbally so if you have any experience with Makaton or Speech and Language, this job might be what you are looking for. To be considered for this SEND teaching assistant (TA) job, you must have had some prior experience of working with children with Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). With a vibrant learning environment, you will be able to perform with the best range of specialist equipment and resources. If you are interested, then please contact Francisco Freire at Axcis Education on 020 7580 2956.

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.

Axcis is an equal opportunities employer. The company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.
