Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Special Needs
Slough, All-Ages SEND School, September 2025 Start Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm We’re currently working with a fantastic all-through special needs school in Slough that caters for pupils aged 4 to 19 with a wide range of complex learning needs. They’re looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is not a role for someone looking to ‘ease into’ education — it’s hands-on, team-focused and fast-moving. You’ll be working with children and young people who need structure, empathy and someone they can rely on. Your day might include classroom support, personal care, communication assistance or moving classrooms with short notice. No two days will look the same — and that’s exactly why the right person will thrive here. To be considered, you must have: • At least 3 months’ experience supporting individuals with SEND in either a school or care setting • Confidence working with a wide age range (4–19 years) • A flexible, calm and proactive approach — this school values initiative as much as experience • Willingness to assist with personal care when required We’ll also take into account: • Personal (non-professional) experience of supporting someone with SEND • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable, not essential) If you're looking for a meaningful role in a truly inclusive school where your adaptability and commitment will be genuinely appreciated, we'd love to speak with you. Apply today with your CV — shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a registration and compliance interview with our team.
