Axcis are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work as a general class teaching assistant, SEND 1:1 support with an SEMH and ASC pupil in year 4. The role is at a primary school in the Bournemouth starting in April 2024 and would be a full time role for the academic year. The school has a superb reputation and works tirelessly in teaching children through creative education to achieve their goals in a safe, happy and enjoyable environment. The school are proud of their community and this is a big ethos taught to the children. The school has grown rapidly recently and they have a large number of pupils with EHCPs and as such need a variety of SEND TA staff who have experience supporting pupils in a mainstream setting. The suitable candidate for this position must have experience working as a teaching assistant and ideally have supported primary age pupils. You will be assisting the teacher’s lesson plan and supporting the children with their school work, socialisation and any day to day duties throughout the school day whilst also developing the children’s independence and confidence. This role starts in April 2024 and would be for the remainder of the academic year and into next.
