Axcis Education is on the lookout for a teaching assistant to support a KS1 student with complex needs. This is a full-time role starting in September and is a long-term placement. This Teaching Assistant role will require you to work with a pupil in year one on a 1:1 basis. You will be supporting the student both through their learning and during their break times. For this role, experience with complex needs is preferable. However, graduates pursuing a role in education are welcomed. The school is a mainstream, primary school in Sherborne. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and aims to nurture all students to achieve the best outcomes possible. The desired Teaching Assistant will need to be positive and engaging to develop a strong bond with the student. You will need to be confident, communitive and positive in character. The start date of the position is September 2024, but there is opportunity to join for the remaining academic year. Pay is £95 a day.
