We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school in Barking. This is a temporary, ongoing role, offering an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in a primary school setting.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our class teachers to support the academic and social development of students. You will assist with lesson delivery, work with individual children or small groups, and help ensure that every child has the support they need to thrive in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities, ensuring all children can access the curriculum
Provide one-to-one support for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) students, tailoring assistance to meet their individual learning needs
Assist in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans for SEND students
