Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is working closely with a local college in Radstock to find a dedicated Learning Support Worker. This full-time role involves providing one-on-one assistance to students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and autism. The position starts immediately and offers a permanent contract after a successful initial period.
Role Overview:

• Salary: £96.23 per day
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored one-on-one support to students with PMLD and autism.
• Assist students in their daily learning activities and help them engage with the curriculum.
• Work closely with teaching staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Help students manage their emotions and behaviours effectively.
• Encourage students to develop independence and social skills.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with individuals with PMLD and autism is essential.
• A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting learners.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs are advantageous.
