Teaching Assistant (SEMH & Behaviour Support) – Secondary School Location: Knowsley Position: Full-Time, Long-Term (Monday to Friday) Are you a passionate and resilient Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a secondary school? We are seeking a dedicated professional to support students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour in a high school in Knowsley. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young people’s education and well-being. Key Responsibilities: - Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH and behavioural needs. - Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. - Help create a structured and supportive learning environment. - Support students in developing positive social skills and emotional regulation. - Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents/carers to track progress and provide updates.
