Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-respected SEN Primary School in Brent, located near Kensal Rise and Brondesbury Park.
This school offers a nurturing environment, excellent new facilities, and has received an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating. The dedicated team is committed to building strong relationships and creating a safe, inclusive space for all pupils.
About the Role
-Support a primary-aged pupil with Autism and Complex Needs on a 1:1 and small group basis, in line with their EHCP.
-Work closely with teaching staff to plan and implement tailored interventions.
-Use communication tools such as Makaton and PECS.
-Provide personal care with dignity and compassion when required.
-Support the development of social, communication, and life skills.
-Monitor and track student progress and contribute to wider classroom support.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-Have experience working with children with Autism or other complex SEN needs.
-Be confident using Makaton, PECS, or similar communication systems.
-Be willing to provide personal care when needed.
-Possess strong communication and teamwork abilities.
-Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
