SEND Teaching Assistant – Autism & Communication Needs (ARP) Location: Mainstream Primary School in Ealing, walking distance from Northolt Station Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:30am–4:00pm Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term (Potential for Permanent Placement) A welcoming mainstream primary school in Ealing is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join their Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP), supporting pupils aged 4–11 with Communication and Interaction needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ARP is situated within the main school building with its own dedicated entrance. Pupils typically spend around 50% of their time in mainstream classes, depending on individual needs. The provision is an integral part of the school and works closely with staff across all year groups. About the Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils both within the ARP and in mainstream classes, helping them access learning, develop communication skills, and manage emotional and behavioural needs. The role involves delivering nurturing, structured support as part of a committed and professional team.
