Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Behaviour Support Assistant – SEND (secondary) Location: Hackney, East London Salary: £89 per day upwards Start date: ASAP Job type: Full-time, long-term Description: Axcis are working with a well-led secondary school in Hackney that is seeking a behaviour support assistant to work with pupils with SEND and behavioural needs, including SEMH and autism. The school has a strong pastoral structure and clear behaviour systems in place, making this a supportive environment for staff working with challenging behaviour. Pupils are supported through small-group interventions and targeted 1:1 support to help them remain engaged in education. This role would suit someone confident supporting secondary-aged pupils, setting boundaries and acting as a consistent, positive adult presence throughout the school day.
