Job Title: Teaching assistant
Location: BB1
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm
Pay: From £93-£96 per day, depending on experience.

We are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in a welcoming SEND school in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity for caring, dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities.
As a teaching assistant, you will provide classroom support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a safe and supportive learning environment. Please note that this role includes personal care, so applicants must be comfortable assisting pupils with their daily care needs while always maintaining dignity and respect.
Requirements:
• Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable.
• Comfortable providing personal care.
• A patient, caring, and compassionate approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable or willingness to obtain one.
