This is a full-time role with the potential to become permanent for the right person. The Role You will be supporting pupils across the classroom, working closely with the class teacher to help children engage with their learning and make progress. The role would suit someone who is confident, patient and enjoys building positive relationships with children. Your responsibilities may include: • Supporting pupils with their learning and development • Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging activities • Providing additional support to individuals and small groups • Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom engagement • Helping create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment • Supporting children with their confidence, independence and social development About You The school is looking for someone who: • Has previous classroom or Teaching Assistant experience, or strong transferable experience working with children • Is confident working with primary-aged children • Is patient, caring and resilient • Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff • Has strong communication and teamwork skills • Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to making a difference • Can confidently support behaviour and maintain clear boundaries Previous experience in a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, support work or another relevant setting would be beneficial.
