Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistants Needed
Axcis Education | £93+ per day | Part-time & Full-time
Axcis Education is recruiting Secondary Teaching Assistants to work across a range of secondary schools, supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
We are looking for reliable, proactive and enthusiastic candidates who are confident supporting young people and can work effectively alongside teachers and school staff.
You will:
• Support pupils with SEND through 1:1, small-group and whole-class activities.
• Help with learning, engagement, communication and independence.
• Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Adapt your approach to meet individual needs.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider school team.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience working with children or young people, ideally in education or SEND.
• Have a good understanding of SEND and additional needs.
• Be patient, proactive and willing to get stuck in.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Work well as part of a team.
Previous SEND experience is highly desirable, and relevant qualifications or extensive personal experience will be considered.
You must:
• Be available approximately 8:30am–3:30pm.
• Be available for part-time or full-time work.
• Be reliable and able to commute to your placement.
