Teaching Assistant – Primary School Location: WA7 Pay: £93–£96 per day Position: Teaching Assistant Agency: Axcis Education Are you a patient, nurturing and resilient teaching assistant looking for a new opportunity within a supportive primary school? Axcis Education is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school where you will play an important role in supporting pupils both academically and emotionally. This role would suit someone who is confident working with children who may require additional support and who can remain calm and composed when faced with challenging situations. What will you be doing? As part of the school’s support team, you will help pupils get the most out of their school day. Your duties may include: • Supporting children with classroom activities and learning. • Providing individual or small-group support. • Helping pupils regulate their emotions and behaviour. • Using positive strategies to prevent and de-escalate challenging behaviour. • Supporting pupils during lunch and meal times. • Providing personal care support where necessary. • Encouraging independence and confidence. • Developing positive relationships with pupils and staff. • Working alongside teachers and other professionals to meet individual needs.
