Music Teacher and Humanities Teacher at SEND School Location: Southall School Overview: Our client is a dedicated SEND school located in Southall, specializing in providing education to students on the autistic spectrum. The school is committed to creating a supportive and enriching environment tailored to meet the unique needs of its students. Positions Available: 1. Music Teacher (Primary or Secondary) Responsibilities: - Teach class music and/or provide music therapy to small groups of autistic students with severe learning difficulties. - Manage a small tutor class, including responsibilities such as report writing. - Develop and deliver engaging, therapeutic music lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of the students. Ideal Candidate: - Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). - Experience in teaching or providing music therapy to students with SEND, particularly those on the autistic spectrum. - Passionate about using music as a tool for learning and therapy. - Strong communication and organizational skills. 2. Humanities Teacher (Secondary) Responsibilities: - Teach humanities subjects to secondary students with autism. - Manage a small tutor class, including responsibilities such as report writing. - Develop and deliver creative and inclusive humanities lessons that meet the diverse needs of the students. Ideal Candidate: - Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). - Experience in teaching humanities subjects to secondary students with SEND, particularly those on the autistic spectrum. - Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. - Strong communication and organizational skills.
