Job Title: Unqualified Teaching Assistant, ASD and Challenging Behaviour
Axcis are looking for individual with SEND experience and a calm and empathetic nature to work in an all-age special school in Birmingham. The school is looking to recruit an individual experienced in supporting individuals with ASD and complex ASD needs to join their pro-active team. This is a full-time position for the remainder of the 23/24 academic year and to return in September 2024. No in-depth subject knowledge id necessary, instead, skills/experience in working with individuals with Autism (ASD) and/or complex needs such as sensory processing difficulties and /or challenging behaviour are highly desirable as these individuals may have complex needs and/or demonstrate challenging behaviour due to their condition. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to make a huge positive impact on the lives of individuals learning about the world around them! The candidate must have experience supporting individuals with special educational needs on a professional or personal basis.
