Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm
Salary: £150 - £170 per day
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Class Teacher to join our vibrant primary school located in the heart of Wandsworth, London. This is a temporary position commencing in February until the end of the academic term. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a deep commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and additional support where necessary.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulus-rich classroom environment.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support children’s educational journey.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the broader life of the school through extracurricular activities.
• Adhere to school policies and educational regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience in teaching Year 4 or a similar Key Stage 2 setting.
• Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment framework.
• Excellent organisational and communicative abilities.
• A proactive approach to continuous professional development.
