About the School:
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded college, is committed to providing inclusive education and support for students with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). In partnership with Axcis Education, we are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The college offers a nurturing environment focused on academic and personal development, where students are encouraged to thrive and achieve their full potential in a supportive and positive learning atmosphere.
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who can bring their experience and enthusiasm to support students with SEMH needs, both in and outside the classroom. The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience supporting children or young adults with SEND or SEMH is highly desirable.
• A patient, adaptable and caring attitude, with the ability to manage challenging behaviours calmly and effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
• A proactive approach to supporting students in their academic and social development.
Type of Candidate We’re Looking For:
If you have experience in any of the following areas, we would love to hear from you:
• Nursery or school settings
• Youth clubs, residential care, or care homes
• Personal experience working with SEND
• Graduates in psychology, sociology, sports, music, art, or drama are also encouraged to apply!

Additional Information:
• Pay: £83.40 per day, depending on experience and qualifications
• Contract: Permanent, Full-time role starting in January 2025
