Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant in Worcester
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND teaching assistant for an independent special school in Worcester, WR6. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your role will be central to providing tailored support to students with special educational needs. You’ll work alongside the class teacher to ensure that lessons are delivered effectively, and that each child receives the care and guidance they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and supporting classroom activities. • Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with additional needs from the ages of 8 -18 years old. • Promote a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels safe. • Communicate effectively with staff and parents to track student progress. Key Requirements: • Experience with SEND in a classroom setting essential. • A genuine passion for working with young people and helping them succeed. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • A proactive, flexible approach to supporting students Pay: Starting from £89 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.30pm (term time) Location: Worcester, WR6 Refer a Friend Scheme: We also have a Refer a Friend scheme—if you know someone who would be a great fit for this role, let us know and you could earn a reward for the referral!
