Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ADHD Teaching Assistant to join our team in Dorking, Surrey. The ideal candidate will work closely with students diagnosed with ADHD, providing tailored support to foster their academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist classroom teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with ADHD.
• Support students in their daily learning activities, promoting engagement and understanding.
• Employ a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
• Monitor and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback to both students and teaching staff.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated.
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each child's education.
Qualifications:
• Relevant qualifications in education or psychology; experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with ADHD.
