The ideal candidate will work closely with students on the autism spectrum, providing essential support to enable them to thrive in a structured educational environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and activities that accommodate diverse learning needs. • Support students in developing their social, emotional, and communication skills. • Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging student engagement and participation. • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress in collaboration with teaching staff. • Assist in the management of classroom behaviour, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere. • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education. Qualifications: • Relevant experience in a similar role or working with children with ASD is preferred. • A caring attitude and a commitment to inclusion and diversity in education. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Relevant educational qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualifications) are a plus.
