Location: Orpington Contract: Full-Time (Monday to Friday) Start Date: September 2025 - Trial day and interviews over the summer Hours: Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Tuesday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay Rate: From £89-£100/ day Are you a confident and resilient role model who thrives on building positive relationships with young people? Do you have a natural ability to inspire and guide learners in challenging situations? We are seeking a strong, dynamic Behaviour Mentor to join our school, providing support to young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 5. This role requires someone who can bring structure, discipline, and a calm, confident approach, making a strong impact on young learners needing positive male role models. Key Responsibilities: - Build trusting relationships with pupils to support their social, emotional, and behavioural development. - Mentor and guide learners through challenges, providing firm but fair behaviour management strategies. - Promote positive engagement in learning activities and social interactions. - Assist teaching staff in creating a safe and structured learning environment. - Provide tailored 1:1 and group support for pupils with SEMH needs. - Actively model positive behaviours and leadership within the school environment.
