About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support Worker, your focus will be on helping students manage their emotions, build confidence, and engage positively in school life. You will work alongside teachers and support staff to implement behaviour strategies and create a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with behavioural and emotional needs.
• Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual students.
• Encourage positive social interactions and engagement in learning.
• Assist teachers in maintaining a structured and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Support students in developing resilience, self-regulation, and coping skills.
• Monitor progress and report any concerns to teaching staff and SENCOs.
• Help with break and lunchtime supervision, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
