Are you a sports coach, youth worker, teaching assistant or someone with experience supporting young people? Looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference every day?
Axcis Education is recruiting for a full-time Behaviour Support Worker to join a specialist school in Bath. The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism and additional learning needs, helping them develop the confidence, resilience and skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
As a Behaviour Support Worker, you'll build positive relationships with pupils, helping them regulate their emotions, manage challenging behaviour and engage positively with learning. Every day is different, and your patience, resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure will have a lasting impact on the young people you support.
The school provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where staff work closely together to ensure every pupil feels safe, valued and able to achieve their potential.
Alongside academic learning, there is a strong focus on communication, emotional wellbeing, independence and preparing pupils for the future.
This role would suit sports coaches, youth workers, graduates, support workers, care workers or anyone with experience working with children or young people. Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential – we're looking for people with the right attitude, strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
If you're ready to start a meaningful career in education where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply today with your CV to be considered for this Behaviour Support Worker role in Bath.
