Job Title: Complex needs Teacher
Position: Complex Needs Teacher Location: Wandsworth, London Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm Salary: Paid to scale Employment Type: Full-time We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Complex Needs Teacher to join our supportive educational team in Wandsworth, London. The candidate will be responsible for providing tailored education to students with a range of complex needs, ensuring they achieve their fullest potential in a safe and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver individualized lesson plans that cater to the specific requirements of each student with complex needs, including those with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and challenging behaviors. - Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to engage and inspire students. - Work collaboratively with fellow staff, therapists, and external professionals to develop and implement IEPs (Individual Education Plans) and monitor student progress. - Manage classroom behavior effectively, establishing and maintaining a calm and structured learning atmosphere. - Communicate regularly with parents and carers, providing feedback on their child's achievements and discussing strategies to support learning at home. - Participate in professional development opportunities and stay updated on current educational practices and legal requirements related to special educational needs.
