Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Cover Supervisor

Part-time and Full-time roles available, including daily cover.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our thriving school community in Chepstow, Gwent. We are seeking motivated individuals who can confidently lead a classroom and engage students across a variety of subjects. Ideal candidates will possess a strong educational background and a commitment to providing high-quality learning experiences for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising work that has been set in accordance with the school policy
- Managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking this work to ensure a constructive environment
- Responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures
- Dealing with any immediate problems according to the school’s policies and procedures
- Collecting any completed work after the lesson and passing it to the appropriate teacher
- Reporting back as appropriate using the school’s agreed referral procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class, and any issues arising
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (in any field) or HLTA status
- Ability to lead a classroom effectively and manage behaviour
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Resilience, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- A genuine passion for education and the personal growth of students
