Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Cover Supervisor / Cover Teacher – Daily Supply
Location: Brent, North West London
Hours: 8:15am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (flexible)
Start: Immediate / Ongoing
A welcoming and well-established mainstream secondary school in Brent is seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor / Cover Teacher to join their team on a daily supply basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in education without the demands of planning and marking. All lesson materials are fully prepared—your role will be to deliver pre-set work and maintain a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
Maintain a calm, focused, and productive classroom environment
Manage student behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work
Provide feedback to teaching staff where required
Essential Requirements:
Strong behaviour management skills (non-negotiable)
Previous experience working with secondary-aged students (school-based or similar)
Confident, adaptable, and resilient approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
