Job Title: Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties Teaching assistant
Job Advert: Teaching Assistant Position: Teaching Assistant Location: Wirral Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Axcis are seeking a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who display challenging behaviours and have SEMH needs. This role requires a proactive individual who can build positive relationships, implement behaviour management strategies, and support students in their academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEMH needs. • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment. • Implement behaviour management strategies effectively. • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies. • Monitor and report on student progress. • Support students in developing social and emotional skills. • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning activities.
